Position
The Town of Crikvenica is actually a seaside riviera made up of four small coastal towns – Selce, Crikvenica, Dramalj and Jadranovo – connected in a string of seaside resorts.
They are located in Kvarner Bay on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. This area is part of the County of Primorje-Gorski Kotar, whose administrative centre is Rijeka, a city located 30 km away.
The Town of Crikvenica is not only made up of land. It also stretches into the sea and includes the Vinodol Channel. In total, it covers an area of 60 square kilometres.
Come to us by road, sea or air!
The centuries-old tradition of tourism on the Crikvenica Riviera is the result of its excellent geographical position and good road connections. It is so close to Central Europe that it can be reached in a day.
Apart from road, the area can also be reached by sea or by air.
Boat owners can find a berth in the town harbour. The Riviera also features many small harbours where you can moor your boat. The nearby marinas in Novi Vinodolski (Marina Novi and Mitan Marina) and on the island of Krk in Punat also offer winter berthing.
If you’re travelling by plane, the nearest airport is Rijeka Airport, which is also located on the island of Krk, only twenty kilometres from Crikvenica.
